Warren Bonython Memorial Water Tanks Project
Warren Bonython, patron of Adelaide Bushwalkers for many years, bequest $10,000 to Adelaide Bushwalkers. The Committee agreed some time ago to use the bequest to construct water tanks in remoter parts of the state where the more adventurous bushwalkers could make good use of them. It would be preferable that they be located on private property in an area well away from car access.
During August 2016 two tanks have been installed.

The Warren Bonython Memorial Water Tanks Project is collecting data from ABW members so that we can choose the best sites for (hopefully) four new water tanks to be constructed during 2016. We are looking for locations which offer interesting walking but which have unreliable water or where you currently have to arrange water drops.
To propose more than one site, enter one site per survey. Simply re-begin the survey with this link to enter each new site.
To maintain the pace of the Project please submit your data by 15 January 2016.
You can propose as many sites as you like and don’t assume that someone else will enter any site that are thinking about. Enter yours. There will be prizes for the members who entered the winning sites.
