"Takes you places"

This Wednesday’s meeting will featuring a talk on Walking Ancient Britain by ABW member David O’Connor.

David has recently returned from Scotland, where, following the John Muir Way and West Highland Way, he walked from Edinburgh to Fort William. David’s involvement with Adelaide Bushwalkers commenced in 2011 when he was preparing for two other UK walks – The Ridgeway and Hadrian’s Wall.

In this presentation, David will briefly introduce the key learnings he has gained from planning and preparing for walking in the UK. This will provide a lead in to movie-type collections of images of The Ridgway and Hadrian’s Wall, very much from a walker’s perspective.
